Two storey, 4 bay former court and market house. Ground floor has 4 large archways to front. Upper floor has 4 tall sash windows. West face has similar arches but only 1 window and fire escape. South gable has a bricked up archway. Stone arch on North side carrying steps to first floor courtroom door. Hipped slate roof
