High Victorian church in Gothic style with massive square tower over the crossing, arcaded with broached slate roof and tall hipped lucernes. Scrabo Sandstone with bands of red sandstone. Damaged in 1941 blitz with new shed truss roof by Dennis O’D Hanna in 1945
